Habitat has long been in the business of providing Accounting Services to several Housing Societies. Through our interactions with our existing clients, we had the opportunity to see some of the problems that they were facing in conducting their day to day affairs. Ironically, in some cases, these problems were despite, and in some matters, even because of the Society Management applications that they were using. We noticed that these applications had a lot of clutter and inaccurate information, which was leading to further complications. We noticed that these (cross sell, up sell hungry) applications are more focused on cross selling everything else, hence pushing more than necessary ads and notifications. After all, there is no free lunch. . .
We grasped the needs for any Society to be able to harness technology for smooth and efficient functioning of their day to day affairs. When we saw the missing pieces, we took it upon ourselves to ease the pain points. This gave birth to – Habitat.
